In sympathy for
Felishima, 8, injured by U.S/NATO shrapnel
wounded during June 2007
somewhere in Helmand Province. The young girl was photographed by Marco di Lauro in a hospital in Lashkar Gah, Helmand Province. Di Lauro wrote that Felishima was allegedly injured after the roof of her house collapsed on her when U.S. war planes mistakenly bombed her village during fighting between NATO and the Taliban, according to her relatives and the British military medical personnel from the UK Med Group (source: http://www.digitaljournalist.org/issue0708/casualties-at-camp-bastion.html). Not the type of photo seen in the U.S. mainstream press.
Precisely injured by U.S. bomb shrapnel
