Fatima’s 2 sons

died at midnight in early December 2001

in a neighborhood on the outskirts of Kandahar. Fatima’s sons’ homes were hit at about midnight, killing her two sons instantly. Her sons’ 6 children were at her house that night and hence survived. Fatima fled Kandahar with her six grandchildren for a refugee camp on the Iranian border.
