Faizul Mohammad, adult man
injured in the evening of October 21, 2001 when U.S war planes bombed tractor convoy with fleeing refugees in Tarin Kot, Uruzgan Province. A U.S bomb hit the tractor and trailer, killing 19. Survivor Faizul Mohammad lost his foot in the attack. With 6 other survivors he traveled for six hours in the back of a pick-up truck to Kandahar. At Mir Wais hospital, the group was told no treatment was possible as supplies and staff were lacking due to the U.S. bombing. They then drove on to Quetta for treatment.
