died in October 2001

in the fierce bombing of the Qargha, a poor western neighborhood of Kabul where the Firqa-8 (8th Division) Taliban garrison was located. U.S. warplanes bombed the Qargha area repeatedly, destroying homes, setting off huge explosions of ammunition dumps which further destroyed numerous houses, injuring and killing persons. The home of Karimullah, 30, head of a family of 7, was completely destroyed. The U.S. bomb killed Fahim, age unknown, and Sayedagha, 30. Dat gathered on March 23, 2003 in on-site interview by a member of the team of Marla Ruzicka.
