killed in the morning of November 23, 2001

In the village called Katawaz (also Katway and Zarqhun Shahr) in Paktia Province. According to the Afghan Islamic Press (cited in PNS 11/24/01). U.S. warplanes pursuing fleeing Taliban and associate forces (as they fled Kabul and Jalalabad southward) dropped a bomb which killed a girl and a woman in the village in the early morning.
