Another anonymous Afghan girl, 13

killed on December 6, 2007

in the Khusf mountains (directly south of Shindand), Herat Province, by US-led Afghan soldiers. The US occupation troops and their ANA “students” were trying to capture a mid-level Taliban commander. According to the Agence France Presse, “the 13-year old girl was killed as soldiers rounded up three Taliban and seized a weapon cache.” No other major western news wire agency reported the incident which was presumably deemed un-newsworthy. After all, just another Afghan girl.
