A neighbor’s 14-yr-old daughter

and her brother

 in Khanabad, a town east of Kunduz. A woman dressed in the burqa walked with 2 other women for 6 hours to seek refuge from the fierce U.S. bombing with relatives in Taloqan. She said, “a neighbor of ours has a 14-year-old daughter who was killed by a bomb on Wednesday along with her brother…last week, there was a doctor who was killed with 12 members of his family.” Hasiva, another woman in a burqa with 2 children, said she decided to flee Khanabad November 16th for a nearby village, but it was hit by U.S. bombs on November 22nd. She added, “five houses were destroyed and all the people were killed.”
