Amin Jand Basha, 22

died on December 19, 2001

in the Tora Bora area. A 22-year-old Afghan man, Amin Jand Basha, was collecting firewood when he accidentally stepped on an unexploded U.S cluster bomb. According to Amin’s brother, Gharan Basha, the bomblet blew up, killing Amin. Amin left behind his wife and 5 children – the typical Afghan family of seven.
