on March 8, 2008 

in Nad Ali district of Helmand Province. NATO occupation forces raided a home, killing two people including a child. At least 400 persons rallied on the following day in protest. Noor Muhammad complained, “We are poor people with no links to the militants. Why are the troops killing us?” A NATO spokesperson said the irresponsible attitude of the house owner provoked troops into opening fire. The western mainstream press totally ignored this incident. We know about it from the reporting of the independent Pajhwok Afghan News.
