Abdul Rassad’s brother

died on October 16, 2001

in the village of Mirza Ahmed Khan near to the Kunduz Army Corps area. The U.S bombardment destroyed 2 medical clinics in Kunduz as well as a number of homes and shops. The bombing killed 7 persons. Abdul Rassad, 50, said, “my house was hit by a missile and I lost everything. My brother was killed, so I left with his 4 children, my wife and the kids.” Rassad fled to the Mile 46 refugee camp on the Afghan-Iranian border.
