In Memory of
Abdul Khalil, 30, shopkeeper
killed during November 17-21, 2001 in the Bandar Bukhari neighborhood of Khanabad. U.S. war planes were bombing the Taliban as they retreated westward towards Kunduz. Abdul Khalil died from a bomb dropped by a B-52H. He was a father of two and a shopkeeper. Report collected in interview on March 24, 2002 by a member of the team of Marla Ruzicka.
