in a compound in the area of Shamalzai, Zurmat (Zormat) district of Paktia Province. U.S. occupation forces came under fire while “searching compounds for two militants.” As usual, the occupiers called in close air support, bombed a civilian house, and the result was 15 dead civilians including 6 children according to local villagers. The NATO/US propaganda center admitted one dead civilian woman and “several militants.” The day after, hundreds of protesters took to the streets carrying black flags and shouting at the Afghan police and denouncing foreign occupation forces.
