In memory of
8 civilians
during the night of May 17, 2008
in the Zerok area of Paktika Province. The resistance fired upon the local district office in Zerok. Shortly afterwards, according to a spokesperson of the Paktika governor, “international forces bombed the attackers’ hiding places. Four insurgents were killed and eight civilians were martyred when a bomb landed upon a civilian home.” As usual, the international occupation forces (which in this area are American) had no information – silence is always the first line of defense. We know about this because of a wire service report filed by the independent Afghan Islamic Press.
