In memory of

4  civilians

killed on Sunday, November 22, 2006

in the Zhari district west of Kandahar city according to residents and local officials. According to Haji Agha Lalai, head of the reconciliation branch of the province, four people were working in a field in the Zhari district when they were hit by NATO bombs. Habibullah, a resident of Zhari, also said 4 civilians were killed. The U.S/NATO propaganda office in Kabul, however, typically proffered that the ISAF had killed “two suspected insurgents” early that morning. We know about this incident from the independent reporting by Saeed Zabuli of the Pajhwok Afghan News as the mainstream corporate media mentioned nothing.
