in the village of Hyderabad, Helmand Province. A British occupation convoy was attacked by Taliban fighters and, as usual, besieged British soldiers called-in close air support with the predictable results: 4-13 dead civilians. NATO occupation forces admitted killing two women and two children. Local residents claimed that 13 civilians including women and children were killed in the air strike according to the independent Pajhwok Afghan News wire service. As usual, NATO’s Brigadier Carlos Branco offered the platitude, “we deeply regret the loss of innocent life…”
