on Sunday, October 14, 2007
in the village of Sangi Shah of Jalriz district of Wardak Province (under Turkish occupation operating a PRT since November 2006), only 40 kms southwest of Kabul. An occupation force convoy hit a mine (or was hit by RPGs) and was then ambushed. Twelve members of the U.S. 82nd Airborne were wounded. They immediately called-in close air support. The acting provincial police chief said a bomb or rocket hit a civilian home, killing a man and his wife, another man, and injured 7 other civilians. Amanuallah had just returned from working in Iran. The family was from the Mullahkhel tribe. As part of established news management practice, NATO forces as usual first denied any civilians were killed.
Precisely killed and injured by close air support
