killed on July 20, 2006

by British occupation soldiers in Sangin Manda, the northern part of the bazaar in Sangin town, Helmand Province. British paratroopers (3rd Para) with Apache attack helicopter air support had moved in to the town of Sangin on Saturday, July 15th. The initial assault involved killing civilians. A village resident told the Afghan Islamic Press news service that two more civilians were killed and ten wounded in firing by British occupation soldiers on Thursday. People such as auto mechanics, chicken sellers and the like were doing business in the bazaar when the British attack began. Both of the dead were buried in the graveyard of Sangin on July 20th
