2-16 villagers killed
at 4:30 PM, October 27, 2001
in the village of Khan Agha, Kapisa Province, in the Shomali Plain. U.S. B-52 and F-18 war planes dropped many bombs on villages close to the frontlines. Even the Northern Alliance confirmed that a US bomb struck the village of Khan Agha, killing at least two people. However, a medical source at the hospital where victims were taken said as many as 16 villagers may have died. Khan Agha was located 3 kms from the frontlines with the Taliban. As many as 35 bombs were dropped in the area. The photo above displays U.S. bombs falling upon the village of Khan Agha.
