in the village of Sheikhan (Shekhan) located about 15-20 kms west of Gardez in Paktia Province. Citing eyewitness reports from Miranshah, the Afghan Islamic Press reported U.S. bombing for several hours killed mostly women and children. In addition, three houses in the village were totally destroyed.
