Yastrzemski played in the Major Leagues for 23 years entirely with the Boston Red Sox that started on April 11,1961 and ended on October 2, 1983. He mostly played as a left fielder but also played 1st base and as a DH. Carl is Boston's all-time leader in career RBI's, hits, singles, doubles, total bases, and games played. He has a very impressive biography and is a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Joe Cronin was MLB player from 1926-1945 then decided to manage for some time after that. Cronin was a 7 time All Star player. He played as a Red Sox from 1935-1945 and then helped manage them from 1935-1947. His batting average was .301 with 2,285 hits and 170 career homeruns.
Johnny Pesky, nicknamed "The Needle" played pro baseball from 1942-1954. He played 7 1/2 seasons for the Boston Red Sox and managed them for two. He missed 3 seasons because of his service in World War II. Johnny is still a familiar face to Boston fans, he still attends games and is a faithful fan himself.
Jim Rice played for the Red Sox for his whole 15 year baseball career. He's He's an 8-time AL All star and was named MVP in 1978. His batting average was .298 with 382 homeruns and 1,451 runs batted in. Rice will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on July 26th of this year and is commonly seen on NESN as a commentator for the Boston Red Sox.
