Your One Source For Everything Celtics
The Celtics had a tough game against the Nets finding it hard to finish and ending the half with only 39 points and trailing to the Nets 46-39. The C's had a scary moment when Delonte went down hard and broke his wrist. They had to regroup however and come back against this deficit in the next half, and that's just what they did. Shaq came up big in the 2nd half and was unstoppable in the paint while grabbing down boards. Soon enough the other Celtic veterans helped out like Paul Pierce nailing jumpers and Ray Allen dropping threes. They also made a large impact on defense by getting 11 steals compared to the Nets' 2. They finally pulled together and finished off the Nets 89-83 to end the game.
This was a great game to watch, but let's be serious it shouldn't have been close, the Nets, don't get me wrong the Nets are a good team, but they just don't have the same chemistry that the Celtics have. Plus the Nets record going into this game was 5-9, this should've been an embarrassing game for them and we should've done what we did to Atlanta the previous game. You can't take any game lightly in the NBA especially this early in the season. Now with the Raptors on the way hopefully we can pull it together and win against them after we lost to them two games ago.
