Michaela's Pictures
As one of the richest children in the world, Mary-Kate Olsen
has entered treatment for an eating disorder (anorexia) after
appearing very thin.
An actress, activist, athlete, and mother,Jane Fonda was one of
the first women to openly discuss her eating disorder. In the late
1970's, Fonda went public with being bulimarexia and she suffered with
this disorder for many years.
The picture on the left is Jamie-Lynn Sigler, a young actress
who became a spokeswoman for eating disorders. Jamie, who
expressed her disorder stated that she had was three or four months
in before coming out. Like Jamie-Lynn Sigler who is sexy and trim,
Paula Abdul suffered from binge and purge, also known as
Bulimia. In 1994 she checked into a clinic to receive help to get
herself healthy the right ways.
At the age of 20, Sally Field spurred for about three years
coping with bulimia. She felt that everyone around her was thin,
except her.
