The Bazarian Medical Association for Elephants was founded in 2000 by Marissa Bazarian in Boston, Massachusettes. All her life Marissa has had a passion for elephants and she strived to accomplish her lifetime goal of saving these endangered creatures. She decided that she would contribute to the conservation of these majestic creatures by creating a company that specifically helps elephant orphanages. In Boston, the labs provided various medications for elephants which were exported to Africa and Asia. In 2005, Marissa decided that it would be more convient for the company to be located in Africa so TBMAE could physically provide medical attention to the continent with the largest population of elephants.TBMAE would also be able to decrease the distance of it's exports and therefore decrease the company's spending budget on over seas mailing. This extra money is used to provide more research in improving medications. TBMAE is also accepting donations which will be used for orphanages that cannot afford medical care for their elephants. The orphanage must send in a request for the a donation in which we review their application and decide as a team wheather or not they are applicable. Donations should be mailed to our address in Kenya.
