I know what you're thinking... how the heck am I supposed to get to all of the places in Boston without falling over from exhaustion?! Fear not my friends, there are multiple ways to solve this problem, but my two favorite ways are:

The MBTA

The MBTA is one of the fastest and cheapest ways to get around Boston. It has long hours, and is extremely affordable for all budgets. The MBTA has mulitple train lines, bus routes, and dependable trolley cars that will get you to pretty much every part of the city in a reasonable amount of time. It is my favorite way of getting around Boston because it is fast, reliable, and always has tons of people riding it with me. It is the true city way of getting around, especially since most Bostonians do not resort to cabs unless they are going far across the city. For a complete listing of train schedules and routes, please visit www.mbta.com. If you want to get a head start on planning your travelling day, here is a map of all of the train stops and lines.

In Case you May Want to Walk...

If you are a fan of walking (which many Bostonians are), I recommend you walking through the Boston Commons and the Boston Public Garden. They are two of my favorite places to walk through in Boston during any time of the season. The Boston Public Garden has beautiful flowers and trees and is a great place to visit during any season (with great light displays during the Holiday season). The Boston Common is home to Frog Pond which is beautiful during the summer and an even more beautiful ice rink during the Winter. For more information on the Frog Pond, please visit bostonfrogpond.com Here is a great picture of Frog Pond frozen during the Holiday season.
