About Us
Durham House of Pets was founded in 1992 and since then we have expanded our products and sales. We started off in a small building just outside of Durham, but have since then moved to Garrison Avenue to a bigger building in order to support our expansion. At first we only sold products for dogs because the founder (Mary Bielefeld) has two dogs of her own and wanted to build a company that would provide products for her lifestlye. Our main focus was also on dogs because we felt that would start us off successfully. Our business took off so we decided to move on to selling products for cats and fish as well in hopes to expand our business.

Our products are top of the line at a price that's affordable to you! We offer a variety of supplies for your household pets and are happy to assist you in finding the best product for your pet. We have employees who are each specialized in knowing everything there is to know about dogs, cats, and fish; so no matter what questions you have, just go to the head of each department and ask away! They would be happy to help! We have three different locations: Durham, Littleton, and Portsmouth New Hampshire! Our corporate office is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Durham while our two regional offices are in Littleton and Portsmouth New Hampshire!
