Home/Introduction
The days of robbing banks and businesses in the olden days are something to wonder about. It was difficult to do. It took a lot of thought and man power to plan something like that. You would have to go to the place you wanted to rob, scope it out, jot down notes, hire some accomplices, come up with a plan etc. You see this in numerous movies. This type of attack was easy to prevent by hiring security guards, installing thick armor doors, surveillance cameras trip wires and alarm systems. It was very hard for the criminals to successfully commit the crime and it was easy to get caught if you actually committed the crime. Fast-forward to today’s world and you quickly realize that robbing banks and businesses is much more common place and easier to do. It is much harder to detect and prevent. Criminals in this day and age are using the power of the Internet to do their business. No longer do they have to scope out the area and hire accomplices. They can sit in their most comfortable clothes in front of their computer and accomplish their goal and get rich. Armor doors and security guards can’t protect you anymore. A new age of crime has emerged. Cyber warfare is what todays businesses have to deal with and they aren’t doing the best job of protecting themselves.
