Laura's Boutique was opened in 1965 as the first small prom boutique in the area. What started out as a small shop in the Old Port has now expanded into triple the original size and has attracted prom goers from across the U.S. and Canada. Ownership has passed down over three generations, and is now owned by Laura Herman, the great-grandaughter of the found, Laura Bernier.Over this time, the stock has changed from decade to decade fitting the style needs of the young women attending prom.
