Why don't more educators use Arts Integration?

I think that many educators understand how Arts Integration helps a students learn the arts but they do not feel they have the time to use more arts integration in their lessons. This is probably the main reason they do not use arts integration more often, especially in the struggling schools. It is unfortunate since oftentimes it is the schools that are struggling that have the students who would benefit the most from arts integration. |
Another reason that educators do not use arts integration is probably the difficulty in finding and/or using the lessons. Arts integrated lessons are very creative processes and allow the students to move about, sing, and talk alot. This chaos can be too much for some teachers. |

| Arts Integration is used more than many educators think. If your lesson plan calls for students to draw a picture, sing a song, pretend to be atoms, or any other wacky, creative activity then you are using the arts in your lesson! |  |
