The Pats have looked unstoppable over the past few weeks. Ever since the loss against Cleveland, the Pats and especially Brady have really stepped their game up. Since the Browns loss, The Pats crushed the Steelers on Sunday Night Football in Pittsburgh. Then they came home and beat up on the Colts at home. Then, many considered the Thanksgiving game in Detroit to be a trap game. A below average team could possibly beat us because of two tough weeks in a row against contenders. Brady and the gang proved the trap game believers wrong. The Pats came out flat in the first half but ended up blowing out the Lions 45-24 once the fat lady sang, making all of New Englands Thanksgiving that much better. And most recently, the Patriots absolutely hammered the New York Jets last Monday Night with the division of the line. Everyone expected a close battle coming down to the end. But Brady carved up the Jets like a roast chicken. It was embarassing for the Jets who were ran out of the building after a final of 45-3. Tied for the second best beat down (42 points) in Monday Night Football history. The Pats have to keep winning though, with Green Bay and Chicago up next, two of the strongest NFC teams. The way Brady has been throwing the ball, they should be no problem.
Brady now officially leads the league in passer rating. He's a shade under 110 while Michael vick is a few points back at 105.7. If Brady continues to throw like he has over the last four weeks, he may come close to his career high which is 117.2 back in 07 when he through the record setting 50 touchdowns. The Patriots are extremely exciting to watch and Brady right now is the main reason. He looks impossible to stop which is great to see.
