Celtics Among the Leagues Best

The Celtics are off to a real solid start once again. They are 16-4 through their first 20 games, and are looking to make it 17 for 21 tonight against the Denver Nuggets. The Celts have the second best record in the league, behind the San Antonio Spurs at 17-3. The Celts definitely look like the deepest team in the NBa and especially the eastern conference. Their bench is just as solid as some teams starting 5. Of course behind head coach Doc Rivers the Celts will make everything look easy. The Miami Heat are a perfect example of how good of a coach Doc Rivers is. The first season our big 3 came together we won a title. The Miami Heat look far from title form. Rivers was able to blend talent together when the only thing the Heat seem to want to do is isolate themselves and force up bad shots. Eric Spoelstra is a fine coach, and he must struglle trying to coach a head case in Lebron James.

Rondo Continues to Shine

Rajon Rondo continues to produce and demonstrate that he's the top distributor in the NBA. Rondo leads the entire NBA in assists, average over 14 per game. The next closest man is two time league MVP Steve Nash at 10.7. Rondo is the driving force of our offense. If he can continue to dish the ball and facilitate he won't need to score any points. The offense is incredibly fluid when Rondo is in the game, but you can't forget about his defense. He is one of the quickest if not the quickest players in the league and doesn't let anybody get around him. He is 5th in the league in steals and is constantly a pain for offenses with the way he moves around the court. Rondo is without a doubt the MVP of our team, and with Lebron and Wade sharing the ball, maybe of the league. Who would have guessed that in 2008 when Allen, Garnett, and Pierce joined forces? He is an exceptional talent and is finally starting to get recognized for it.
