Chases's Traveling Agency was founded by Donald Chase in 1945. He was a painter in nearby Pepperell, Massachussetts. He found it very difficult to feed his family of 6 so he decided to change careers. His little home town business began to expand, and before he knew it Chase's Travel Agency had grown nation wide. It was the first of it's kind, and word spread. Traveling became more common, and Donald's travel agency continued to grow exponentially. It helped people see the world; A world they were not used to. Of course back in 1945 most of his clients road boats or trains to travel. Over time air traffic had become popular, so he had to shift his focus. He stuck with the old school approach and continued the train and boat options, but he expanded the company to traveling by airplane. One of the few agenices who did. Chase's Travel Agency was ahead of it's time, and because of this, the productivity rates were high and profits soared.
