About me

I’m Kellen Busby, a University of New Hampshire student majoring in Business Administration with an option in Information Systems Management. I’m also pursuing a minor in Outdoor Education as a supplement to my interest in the outdoors and complete a rounded education.

I recently returned from studying abroad in Budapest, Hungary at Corvinus University of Budapest. You can see some of my published blog posts from my trip (published by the University of New Hampshire, as a student blogger) here.

I’m an avid skier and outdoor enthusiast. I’m involved in the New Hampshire Outing Club as an Assistant Leader and am currently taking an Adventure Programming, backpacking course in order to improve my leadership skills in the outdoors and elsewhere. Recently, I got appointed Master of Rituals of my fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi, the professional business fraternity at UNH. With this position I’ve taken on much more responsibility and hope to gain valuable leadership experience.

What I believe sets me apart from the rest of my peers is my ability to face down a challenging task and overcome it. Whether I have the skills to to complete the task at hand already or I need to use outside resources to accomplish it, I’m confident that I have the logic and persistence to overcome the challenge. Education is useless if you don’t have the ability, courage or common sense to act and use the knowledge you have.
