The Town of Wilmington, Massachusetts

Wilmington is home to the Wildcats

Established 1730

Wilmington is located just about 25 minutes north of Boston, Massachusetts. It is about seventeen2 miles in size, and has been around since the year of 1730. It is made of up many small neighborhoods, and swampy, tree areas. As the town manager, Michael Caira says,

It is a community with a generous heart and an open mind.

Wilmington is a great place to raise children, so there are many families who move there with their children. It is such a great childrens town because it is quiet, and has a low crime rate. The houses in the neighborhoods are all pretty close together. Wilmington has a good school system, with the overwhelming majority of its graduates going on to further their education at a two year or four year school.

Check out my site to learn more about Wilmington. There is a page on the schools located in Wilmington, as well as how they compare to the rest of Massachusetts. There are also pages on the Wilmington Police Department, The Rotary Club, and other things around town. Enjoy!
