For the past 6 years I've been working in the Advertising industry. This started in Portland, Maine where I was the Website Manager and Sales Assistant for three radio stations (WHOM, WJBQ, WCLZ). I moved to New Hampshrie about three years ago and have since moved from the radio advertising to television advertising with Comcast Spotlight. My favorite part about the job is that I have the autonomy often assocaited with running you own business, but I still get the benefits of working for a large well run corporation. Day-to-day I work with local businesses in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, helping them meet their marketing goals by delievering their message to TV and Internet audiences.
In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors - from Climbing, Biking and Boating in the summer months, to Skiing and Backpacking in the winter. I will be hiking to the top of Mt. Washington this weekend, dragging along my skis so that i can make some turns on the way down. Our ascent will start at the Pinkham Notch Center, and follow the Tuckerman Ravine trail to the Lion's Head trail and on to the summit. After, we'll ski down the snowfields and then down (over the lip) Tuckerman's and out the Sherburne Trail back Pinkham visitor center.
Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
