History Durham House of Pets was founded in 2001, and while we are still a young business; we have grown rapidly and intend to continue. DHOP started out as a simple idea that one man, our own Shawn Cyr, brewed up. Why doesn't the town of Durham have a petstore? A college town without a petstore simply sounded like something that needed to change. The business started as a one building investment and has spread rapidly. We now have three sister companies across the state of New Hampshire. The size is not the only thing that has changed.
We started with only selling various foods for both dogs and cats. We now carry a wide variety of food, toys, and other apparel. Not only that, but we have also added various fish supplies to our available products which includes everything from tanks to food. |
