You could have more information about the different type of riders. It may
be better to just do the type of rider or a cyclists. Or just have a fan
website for a specific team

What do you not like about the website? Kim,
Welcome to cyberspace! It is always great to see a fresh perspective on
our sport. Your new website is a good start.
At this time the major problem is the graphical presentation. The red text
on the blue background is very hard to read. the eyes really struggle with
the extremely strong contrast. In the printing world this technique is
known as "reversing out". A very common use of this is white text on a
black background. Although this approach looks graphically attractive it
should be used sparingly. The best use is for headline banners or areas
with very little text and a large font size. For body copy it kills
readerability.
So I would recommend using good old black text on a white background. Use
color for graphical elements and large headlines to make it 'pop'.
Another victim of your color scheme is the links. When you click on them
the link name changes color and disappears into the background blue!

What did you like about the website? With the graphical presentation
refined you have the beginnings of an interesting site. We know from the
CyclingRevealed trivia competition that you know a lot about elite bike
racing. Your web site is a great way to spread the wealth.
As we quickly discovered with CyclingRevealed, web sites get old very
quickly. It is very important to frequently update it with new material.
If you do not your readers will soon stop returning to the site. Of
everything that we do with our site keeping a flow of new stuff is the
hardest thing to do because you always need to be working on the next
'entry'.
Stick with it. I will enjoy following your work. Meanwhile I hope that all
your hard work produced a good mark for your assignment.
Best regards,
Graham
