The business management specialization is designed for students who wish to seek entry-level management positions in existing firms, prepare for management of a family-owned business, or start a new business.

The program of study provides practical exposure to essential topics in business management and allows students to seek further specialization in a business area or to prepare for transfer to a baccalaureate program.

Graduates find employment as sales associates, retail store managers, office managers, bookkeepers, purchasing agents, and entrepreneurs. Many elect to continue their education at the baccalaureate level, either in a business major or in another field of study.
