Going Back to School Figuring Out a Major

All this work needs to lead to somewhere. While at first it may not be important to know exactly what you are going to major in, it is still a good idea to get some ideas floating around in your mind of what might be some possible majors for you and give you some areas to explore with some of your classwork.

Going Back to School Getting Enrolled

After taking some classes you are probably going to want to become enrolled as a full time student. Since at this point you are what is considered a non-traditional student, getting into school often isn't as easy as someone going directly from high school. You have been out of school for a period of time and you and the university need to know that you are capable of doing the work. When you are ready to go as a full time student, it is time to find an enrollment program that works for you and the university.

Going Back to School Taking Some Classes

Now that you have picked your school, you need to start actually taking some classes. The best way to jump back into school is to check out the continuing education department and pick up some courses. It allows you to get used to being in school again without the major shock of suddenly being a full time student again.
