Assist you with picking a venue: We will travel by your side to make sure you are wed in the perfect venue and location.
Select decorations for your venue: Depending on your taste, our team will provide the most extravegant or perfectly simple decorations for your big day.
Prepare Food and Invitations: We will design and hand-craft invitations for your guests and help you pick out your ideal cake and food options to satisfy you and your guests.

Our Story

The Wedding Planner was founded in 1992 by Kelly Dow in one of Barnstables' villages: Osterville, MA. Kelly studied at the University of New Hampshire and majored in Hospitality Management with a focus on event planning. After planning many events for her sorority at UNH, and planning her brother's wedding in 2000, Kelly started her own business planning weddings. She started off planning smaller weddings for friends and family in Cape Cod, and has expanded her business to plan large weddings all over the nation. Now, Kelly and her team have planned numerous weddings. This team makes dreams come true to every bride and groom, making their day perfect!
