Pietlicki, John - UNH Web GuyHi There! You've reached the home page of a white, non-hispanic male with a receding hairline (note the photo on the left), 53 years old (I list my age here only because it forces me to update this site at least once a year), and a bit overweight (can't hide it, so I might as well be honest about it).
During the day I am an Information Technologist at the University of New Hampshire and a relatively late blooming computer user. After 12 years in the construction industry I was lucky enough to get the proverbial "foot in the door" of computing, and I have been descending into the depths of dweebdom ever since.
In my spare time I enjoy the occasional walk in the woods or enjoying the scenic beauty of New Hampshire with my wife, and spending time with my family. I love to read and occasionally visit a local bookstore.
Spring, summer and fall (especially fall) in New Hampshire can enliven the mind and enrich the soul (huh?), but winters can sometimes be tough to deal with. My family and I manage to get through the winters by regularly attending UNH Men's Hockey games.
But enough about me - what about you? Do we share any interests? If you have nothing better to do feel free to drop me a line the old fashion way and let me know how you stumbled onto my page. It may not be much to look at, but hopefully it brought a little humor into your life. No worries, eh?!
Believe it or not, this page was last updated on February 27, 2013.

Disclaimers: I may be a "Web guy" but this page will never truly reflect what I really do - think "cobbler's children with no shoes" and you get the picture; I am not a member of the Hair Club for Men, nor Overeaters Anonymous, but probably should be; in case you didn't get the joke, "q-tips" is the term some of the youth of our nation (like my kids) use when referring (like my kids do) to those who have reached a certain age (which my kids constantly remind me about) in life; I wish I was better at gardening (I love watching my wife grow things!) but sadly I was born with a the brown thumb and can kill a cactus (I have).
