There are many people who think that cheerleading is not a sport, but to me it is. Before I came to UNH I was a cheerelader for 13 years of my life. I thought it would be too stressful to continue when I got here so I stopped, and I soon regreted that decision. Most things cheerleaders do, the average person can't even do at all. These things range from tumbling, to stunting, jumping, and competing. It's not just sitting on a sideline at a football or basketball game, it's much more. It all about technique, skill, form, flexibility, and most of all, competition. All of these things are what other competitive sports are required to have, so why don't people think its a sport?
Throughout my website I will explain the most important aspects of cheerleading. So if you do not think it is a sport now, when you're done reading this, hopefully you will!
