Durham House of Pets is a third generation family business who prides itself for helping individuals and families find that special pet to complete their family.
Durham House of Pets was founded in 1914 by the Cote-Bourbeau family after their youngest daughter brought home three homeless puppies. What started as a shelter quickly became a business. Over the years Durham House of Pets started expanding their animal selection to include fish and cats.

We get our animals at reliable local breeders Not at puppy mills and we hire only experienced staff.
