Our History
Durham House of Pets was founded in 1992 by Matt Howard in Durham, New Hamsphire. Growing up as an animal lover, Matt decided he wanted a profession that would allow him to cater to a variety of his favorite pets. When DHOP originally opened, the 400 sq.ft store offered mostly a variety of dog and cat food. Today, after a 200 sq.ft addition and continuous customer growth, DHOP offers a variety of products that range from dog food and apparel, to fish necessities.
