The axe of my choice was the trumpet. The trumpet is a brass wind instrument with three valves, and when used in different combinations and pitches those three valves can create a wide variety of notes.

I chose to play the trumpet because you have to make a farting noise with your lips to play it, and as a little kid, I thought it was both comical and fun. I played the trumpet in school concert bands from fourth grade to sophomore year of high school, when my interests drew away from the trumpet. I do not currently play the trumpet in any group, but I still occasionally pick it up and toot my horn.
