Music has been playing in my ears my entire life. I started out listening to music such as The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, and Bob Dylan, basically whatever my parents were listening to at the time being. I did not start discovering the music genres I enjoy and appreciate until later in my life.

I was first introduced to playing music when I was in the 3rd grade by my older brother, who was in the school band. Students could not join the school band until the fourth grade, which is the same year that they chose the instrument they would like to play and learn. Most kids my age did not make it past the first couple years learning and practicing, but I knew even at that young age that someday it would all come together to mean something.
