Being a "Greek" means a lot of different things to many different people. To me it means having a certain type of connection that you don't have with just regular friends. The bond between the brothers starts at the begginning of pledging and only gets tighter as you spend more time with eachother.

The symbol of Alpha Sigma Phi is a pheonix. The phoenix symbolizes rebirth signifying the refounding of the fraternity in the early 1900's

I decided to pledge Alpha Sigma Phi because i was looking for a way to get out and meet new people instead of just hanging out with my highschool friends. I heard a lot of the stereotypes of fraternities but once i met all the brothers along with spending time with them i realized its not what you see on T.V. I have met more business oriented people through joining this house because in all our house is ran as a business. I have earned good social and public speaking skills that i wouldn't learn through classes and that is all due from our house meetings along holding a possition in the house as Risk Management Chair
Causa Latet Vis Est Notissima meaning the cause is hidden, the results well-known
