Pine Valley Inc. was founded in 1923 by Edward Timothy White, who lived in Winchester, Virginia.He was a father of three children and husband of Eloise White.
Early in the companies' years, Mr. White hand-made wooden tables and rocking chairs.
Most of the wood he used was pine, the highest quality pine.
Local patrons continued to purchase his high quality, home-made furniture and thus his name became well known throughout the community.
Edward's success quickly prompted others to follow his lead and join his newly formed furniture business.
Today,after 90 years of business, Pine Valley is one of America's finest pine furniture companies in the country.
