Janine Auger's Assignment 2 for CS403-03Janine's
Biography
The Younger Years...or when I was a moronic pipsqueak
"They dug me my very own garden"
Born 2 days before
John Lennon was shot and named after a David Bowie song, my little life
was already under the Rock and Roll influence. I was going to be a wild
child...until I fell asleep at my baptism. I was the first of 3 kids.
This meant I had no one to beat up for 2 whole years...not that I ever
beat up my brother...just smacked him around a bit. I don't remember
those first 2 years because there wasn't much to remember and not enough brain
to do the remembering.
The Brainiac years
"Suck your teenaged thumb, toilet trained and
dumb"
My Father is a High School Biology teacher and my Mother was a
housewife which meant I grew up extremely close to my family and extremely
close to my school work. I lived in Raymond, NH until the middle of my
freshman year in high school. I thought my life was going to end when I
had to say goodbye to my small group of friends and say hello to scary
Oyster River High School. That school was and still is a dump
heap. I thought my life was ruined until I met some crazy kids and some
crazy teachers. I fell into the drama crowd, never thinking that maybe
there was more fun to be had. All there was to do for me during high
school was study, act and play softball.
The College Years
"We're too young to fall asleep, too cynical to speak"
My college career didn't start out that great. I decided to go to
the college right down the street, UNH. I commuted the first year to save
up in order to study abroad. I wanted to go to England but I wound up
going to a meeting for studying in Budapest and for some reason I decided
to go there instead. I spent the first semester of my sophomore year in
Budapest, Hungary and I had the time of my life! I visited seven or eight
different countries while I was over there and I met the best friends I'll
ever have! I am currently a Junior and I'm living in the Gables. I met
two of my current roommates while living in Budapest.
