History
Durham House of Pets is a small Pet store/Veterinarian Clinic founded in 1990 by Bill Nye The Sciance Guy. It started when founder Bill Nye couldn't afford paying for the vet bills for his 15 pets. He decided to try and save money and leard how to do procedures and work with medicines for a variety of pets. Bill got so good at this many of his friends started to go to him instead of a vet. Bill loved helping people and their pets so much with his new found talent he decided to go into business selling and helping all kinds of pets. It started with just two employees, Bill and close friend Rob Dyrdek to help with the financing but after five years Bill couldn't keep up with the booming business and decided to hire some help. Now Bill has retired from doing veterinary work but is still the owner and CEO. Durham Animal Hospital prides itself on Bill's values of being friendly and getting to know their customers and has carried this tradition for 21 years and going.Why Choose Durham House of Pets
