It amazes me how each and every RAW is another great show. The crowd last night certainly added to it too. While I enjoy Smackdown as well, RAW seems to always be a little better, though it might help if I didn't read the Smackdown spoilers :) I don't think there was a lowpoint at all on last night's show. I'll start at the beginning. Has anyone else wondered how long the Rock could stand in the ring with a microphone without speaking a word while the crowd cheers for him? For awhile I was getting a little bored with the Rock's speeches, but they've done a good job by not having him talk quite as much and giving him new things to talk about. For awhile I sort of felt like things wouldn't be back to normal til Steve Austin returned, but after seeing RAW the last month or so, I'm not sure the WWF needs Steve Austin. I'm not saying I don't want him to come back (because I do), and the WWF would be stupid not to hope he comes back, but I think the current roster can carry the WWF just fine, which is the way it should be. It's better if the success of a promotion isn't based on the name of one person. Looks like the crowds make their rounds now, starting off yelling at Vince, then Shane, then Stephanie. And how funny is it when Vince yells "Shut up!". You know, so many people email me telling me how the WWF should not put Stephanie on air, and how much she annoys them. Well, that is all the more reason for Stephanie to stay on television, she's doing her job very well obviously. I find a lot of things she does quite funny actually. You had to wonder how long the Undertaker, Kane, and the Rock would be fighting with each other, when they needed to join forces against the McMahons and Triple H. I think I mentioned that last time, and it's good to see they addressed it! Maybe someone is reading this afterall?

I haven't even gotten to the first match yet, looks like I won't make it through the entire show here, so I'll just mention the highlights. I think everyone expected Lita to win the Women's Title so that they could bring it back to those who should be fighting for it (Ivory, Jackie, Tori, Lita, etc.). It was quite a surprise they let Stephanie hold on to it, but how she won was even more surprising. Seems Kurt Angle is headed for Main Event status real soon, though if he's feuding with Triple H, where does that leave the Rock, Kane, and the Undertaker? Ok, so maybe they're not getting along does have some point to it. Afterall, Linda said they needed to get along through King of the Ring, so after that maybe Kurt will feud with Triple H, and then the Rock can feud with Kane and the Undertaker? Seems the WWF has left many possibilities open, and are really doing a job of making the storylines make more sense. It's much better than when you're supposed to go along with something that doesn't make sense for no apparent reason. Oh, plus Bull Buchanan maybe is skipping right by the Boss Man to a feud with the Undertaker? And how is it that the Boss Man was so interesting to watch in the 80s, and so boring to watch now?

And how upset is a crowd when they don't get to see "The Worm"? I actually thought Test and Albert were going to win for a second there.

The Dudleys vs. the McMahons was awesome! Poor Tori though. They did a great job though after she didn't go through the table the first time. It didn't look quite as awkward as it could have. I never thought I'd see the day when 20,000 people pop over the word "Table". Guess those steelchairs are out! And didn't you just know the film would get messed up? And how was JR able to tell the first time around that Pat Patterson was taking Kane's photo? I certainly didn't notice until they showed the replay again. I did guess Jericho would be the surprise opponent. Afterall, he hadn't been mentioned yet, and his first match with Triple H was so well received. Nice that Matt Hardy got some time in the spotlight alone. I feel bad when all everyone talks about is Jeff's talent. Matt is just as good if you ask me. And GTV, I don't think we'll ever find out who's behind it now, cause there's no possible explanation why one person would do what they've done in the past year (or more?). That's all I've got time for now.

Well I was right (at least for now). The Rock, Kane and Undertaker were no match for the McMahon-Helmsley's on Smackdown last night. It was great to finally see a show where the McMahon-Helmsley's had nothing going for them. For months and months they have been getting the last laugh, and it's nice to have this change. I only hope that neither the Rock, Kane or Undertaker end up siding with the McMahons. I was thinking, seeing the McMahons now seem to need some help, it would be the perfect time for Billy Gun to come back. This would be the perfect opportunity to elevate him to the next level. I know he's out with injuries, but hopefully he'll be back in time to take advantage of this. Now I know that when he left he was not on good terms with DX, but it would seem the best thing to do would be to bring him back in to DX (hey, storylines are forgotten all the time and I'm sure they could figure out a very quick, simple reason for him going back to DX). Just imagine, if he did, the same 4 DX members would still be together after almost 3 years, and still at the top of the industry. Whether or not you think Road Dogg and X-Pac are Main Eventers, they are getting the big matches by association. Now if Vince had trouble with the behavior of Steve Austin, wouldn't he have just as much trouble with what DX is known for? Triple H has changed though, and that was clear how much he's changed when he and Shawn had their brief segment at Judgment Day and everyone was writing afterwards how cool that was. Seems it wouldn't take much at all to get the fans back behind DX if they separated from Mr. McMahon. With the Rock, Kane, and Undertaker all going after the WWF Title though, you have to wonder how well they can really fight off the McMahon-Helmsley's. They are all looking out for themselves, while the McMahon-Helmsleys are a unit. So maybe that will be one factor. And where is Paul Bearer? Does anyone know? So we must be going to have a Triple Threat Match coming up to determine the #1 contender. I wonder when that will be. The Undertaker seems the most likely choice to me to win. We've seen the Rock/Triple H enough times now, and while Kane has immediately re-established himself, I think it is the Undertaker who has the most to gain right now challenging the champion. Oh, well I guess they could have a Fatal 4-Way at King of the Ring (courtesy of Linda McMahon?). Yeah, I bet that's what it will be. I've got to get going, but will try to write more later. Email me and if you read this, so I know someone's reading :)

Hi everyone! Monday night I had just said "It must be time for Kane to come out", and 1 second later, there he is, lol. Seems the odds have finally evened up, Kane/Undertaker/the Rock vs. the Corporation/DX. I'm not sure how even that really is though, Triple H/Road Dogg/X-Pac isn't a match for Kane/Undertaker/the Rock. It will be interesting to see what happens. For so long it's been the Corporation focusing on 1 or 2 individuals, but now it seems they are on the losing end. Plus, they have Chris Jericho after them too. However, I'm sure they will find some way to keep things even. I'm glad the Undertaker didn't come back with that whole Ministry of Darkness thing, he's much better now, maybe better than ever before?

I want to apologize for not updating the site as much as I should. Like I've said, this is purely a hobby and something I do in my free time (actually, what free time?). In addition I also have been busy doing trades, and of course answering emails. If I haven't gotten back to you about a trade or an email you sent, I am responding as quickly as I can. In addition to the wrestling aspect, I've been working on my Mariah pages and have been busy with those trades too. For those of you that I didn't email, to make a long story short, Mariah received a fan book this past weekend that has all my Boston photos and a review I wrote in it. A lot of us fans contributed to a fan book and I'll be posting the photo of Mariah holding the book this weekend. Also, if you go to www.mcarey.com and click on the "news" section at the bottom of the page, then listen to the audio message from Mariah dated 5/26/00 you will hear her talk about the fan book in the very beginning! It's still hard to believe she's read many of the things I've written. For those of you who are fans of hers (and even if you're not), her new single, "Can't Take That Away", comes out this Tuesday (June 6th), and it's so important that you buy a copy the first week it is released so we can make this her 3rd #1 song from the "Rainbow" album. Radio stations and music channels have not been supporting her as they have in the past (for many reasons that are too long to explain right now).

Speaking of music, what did I think of having Kid Rock on RAW? Well, I am not a Kid Rock fan, so for me personally I really wasn't that excited about it, though it did provide for some funny skits during RAW. I don't mind bringing in music acts for shows (as it draws in more media attention too), but the problem with doing that is that while the wrestling audience all has a common interest in wrestling, their musical tastes are obviously going to vary. It's ok once in awhile though and even though I don't really like their music, it fit well with the overall show.

Congratulations to everyone graduating this year!
